Congratulations to these two “studly-dudleys”! Marcia and Janet were our only two shows for Saturday’s Grace – Barbells for Boobs. We almost canceled it – due to both low interest and good ol’ Milton – who certainly threw a monkey wrench in things. But..we thought these ladies still were die hards and we owed it to them and the cause to push forward. After a simple warm-up and a little arm wrestling about their loads (😂) we got them started. Both ladies PR’d their times and loads – choosing slightly higher loads due to stellar times the last time they did Grace. Congratulations to both of them! The pink faces above say it all❤️.

Monday – our four rounds are full again: rope climbs, walking lunges, and L-sits.

Then, in teams of two, we’ll work box step-ups, preparing for Chad in November for the rest of the hour.

Wednesday -Grace! Our priority today will be what last Friday should have been: October Barbells for Boobs celebration of Grace. Every October we perform this workout in order to bring awareness to the fact that screening for this disease is one of our biggest chances for survival. Also, your health – the healthier you are the better. So today, we’ll pair up and work through 30 clean and jerks for time. We’ll run two heats and count/score for each other.

In the end, with time remaining in class, we’ll work on mobility and agility paired with conditioning.

Friday -After a bench press strength set, we’ve brought back the Friday we were closed for Helene due to popular demand! A spirited DL/WB EMOM sure to challenge not only your DL capacity but also your cardio! Trust us, it’s not going to be the DLs…it’ll be the WBs that get you!

We’re glad to be back to a normal week after last week’s hurricane.
