ROWING TUTORIAL

It is Open Week 3!

We’ll rinse and repeat with waiting for the WOD to post on Thursday, then work through the heat schedule based on cameras and space. We’ll post Saturday’s heat schedule at the gym on Friday

Same Saturday schedule: we start at 8am; should be done by 10am. All are welcome!

WORKOUTS FOR THE WEEK:

MONDAY

Our four rounds will have us working on

  • longer effort on the rower or bike (great tutorial on the rower HERE – please watch it – we need some work on that rower!)
  • Jump rope
  • KB swings

Then, we’ll plug in our Deadlift for the week.

WEDNESDAY

Our squat will be a combination of hang squat cleans and front squats – higher skill and reps.

Our press will be a challenging seated Dbl DB press – the long sit always challenges those with tight hammies.

And our hinge will accomplished with higher rep plate ground to overheads.

Some supersetting will be going on in between these movements – good solid Wednesday.

FRIDAY

TBD – we will do the CrossFit Open Workout 25.3
