Two weeks ago you tackled an unofficial CrossFit Hero – Jimmy.

Today you’ll tackle another one. This time, it’s an official CrossFit Hero: Manion.

First Lieutenant Travis Manion, 26, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, assigned to 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, based in Camp Pendleton, California, was killed by sniper fire on April 29, 2007 while fighting against an enemy ambush in Anbar Province, Iraq. He is survived by his father, Colonel Tom Manion, mother Janet Manion, and sister Ryan Borek.

In teams of 2, both agreeing on the mode of cardio (row, bike or run) you will accomplish the following with a 40-minute cap:

7 Rounds for time:

Either: 500M row, or 30 cal bike, or 400 run  (200M run/walk is a scaled option)
29x Dbl DB squats 35/25 or less

Young people RX Manion is 7RFT: 400M run, 29x BB BS 135/95. We’ll use DB’s today due to the partners and BB/Rack situation.
*40 min cap as long as we can get started by H:15.
