After a solid warm-up, we’ll start the day with our typical four-rounder. Today you’ll see:

  • Pushups
  • Power Cleans
  • Step-Ups
  • and here we go…”Ground to Overhead”. This is something you’ll see in the Open, as well as, for those not doing the Open, an opportunity to learn a new skill.  Using a dumbbell, you’ll choose how to take that dumbbell from the deck to overhead. You can Clean and Jerk it, or you can Snatch it. Snatching is not a regular part of our programming because of the risk to an aging shoulder, however, for some with no shoulder issues, it’s an option today. Listen to your coaches….

Next up, some conditioning for a Monday: burpees and fast plate step ups

Finally, we’ll cash out some challenging balance.
