Thought for the week – we will ALWAYS harp on diet as much as training. They’re symbiotic and can’t exist in a vacuum. One helps the other and vice versa in contributing to your health. MetFix, our new affiliation, is pushing out information DAILY on the harms of ultra-processed foods, high carbohydrate diets and the importance of diet. The image above is their content – we love it. WORKOUTS FOR THE WEEK:

MONDAY

We begin our Poliquin 6-12-25 training today. It’s hot…this will reduce the frequency of our metabolic conditioning, improve our means of gaining strength in the hot summer months, and provide a new stimulus. Today we’ll tackle chest and biceps  – using bench press, the SVEND press and pushups for chest, and hammer curls, body rows (supinated) and banded curls for biceps. We’ll tackle a 10 minute grippy cash out to button up the day.

WEDNESDAY

Again with the Poliquin programming – we’ll do a posterior chain set using deadlifts, KB swings and glute bridges. And then core using a Pallof press, DBall slams and situps or V-ups.

In the end we’ll work though a 10 Min EMOM of banded HKM and air squats.

FRIDAY

Again, with a partner we’ll work through an EMOM of UB HPCs.  Then NFT but a circuit of jump rope, inch worms/push ups, toes to bar/rig knee ups and walking lunges. Just some genera conditioning. Great end to an exciting week kicking off the Poliquin Programming.
