Today we’ll replace our squat with a power clean. In place of this full range of motion squat, we’ll trade off speed in the power clean. Focus today: the first pull off the deck into the second pull up – rate of speed in the first pull – timing – positioning. Do not go heavy in exchange for form…work it and rework it and work it again until it gets better. Going up in load before your movement looks great is a recipe for epicondylitis and injury.
After the PC, we’ll switch to another “variation” from our norm: we’ll Pate G2O in high reps today.
Finally, and you would be correct in assuming we’re outside the norm today – we’ll till BB DL but with a twist on that.
