Wednesday Strength Day!
Check out the image above. Ironically, to lower body composition and achieve many of the markers in the “fitness” level of this curve, you need to keep muscle mass up. And here we are – Wednesdays are our strength days. Shall we get to it?
Today our squat IS on a BB but it’s an Olympic Lift – the Hang Squat Clean.
Our press is also a BB – we can push press or push jerk. As you know, we’ve been harping on the difference between the two and trying to make sure you meet the range of motion requirements to begin jerking if that’s what you aim to do…so keep pushing the basics.
Finally, yes, you’re back on the barbell for DL’s. Happy day for most of you!
